Scratch-off printer ribbons are ideal for use with gift card programs or other promotional offers. These specialized ribbons print scratch-off material over a printed portion of the cards, and are typically used to cover a number, special code, or the value of the card.
Scratch-off ribbons produce a (typically) gray effect that can be scratched off. The material is applied to an already printed card. To use a scratch-off ribbon you will need to switch out your regular printer ribbon for the scratch-off version and then set the printer driver to ‘K.’
